AC/DC: Serbian Fans Snap Up Belgrade Tickets In Only Three Hours

February 16, 2009

According to Blic Online, it took Serbian fans only three hours to snap up all available tickets to AC/DC's May 26 concert at the Partizan Stadium in Belgrade after they went on sale this past Friday. 23,000 tickets were printed for the countries of the former Yugoslavia, while an additional 22,000 tickets were available for the neighboring countries (Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania). Serbia is the first country where all the tickets have been sold out.

"All tickets for Serbian fans were sold out in only three hours, the only tickets that remained are for the grandstands which have already been booked. If the booked tickets are not bought within several days, they will also be available," stated spokesman Aleksandar Rados, pointing out that there is a possibility that a certain number of tickets for the fans from the former Yugoslavia and neighboring countries will be transferred to the Serbian market. "Since we are the first country in the region to sell all the tickets, we will ask for the permission from management to transfer the tickets from other countries that haven’t been sold to our market."
